12 year old single malt from the GlenAllachie distillery, bottled as part of a series of single cask released near the end of 2018. This one was interestingly aged in a virgin oak barrel, slumbering from April 2006 to October 2018. 282 bottles were produced.
Freshly cut oak, waves of caramel and honey, a hint of beeswax.
Fruity esters (think banana and blackberry), followed by cinnamon, black pepper and nutmeg.
Toasted brioche, subtle coffee warmth.
