GlenAllachie selected a host of puncheons and hogshead casks that previously held palo cortado sherry to finish this characterful single malt. Matured for a total of 11 years and bottled at a satisfying 48% ABV for The Wood Collection, it's layered with notes of ripe plums, dark mocha, and warming cinnamon.
Cinnamon, floral honey, damsons, and buttery caramel, with raisin-studded fudge, and a touch of ginger in tow.
Layers of dark hedgerow fruits, maraschino cherries, and jammy berries join toasty notes of honeycomb.
Dark chocolate, plum jam, and treacle toffee linger.
