GlenAllachie 10 Year Old 2008 (cask 586) - Single Cask Reviews

Complex and intense - not a starter whisky, but a good single cask

Tried at a tasting event - it's good, really good. Certainly up's the complexity compared to the others in GlenAllachie's range. The spiciness isn't allowed to dominate and the other flavours really gel together. I thought this was a really good one, though the finish is potent - I'm not one for adding water, even to single cask whiskies, but I wouldn't begrudge anyone doing so - a little too intense for my liking, but overall pretty good stuff.
