Glenallachie 1992 Bottling Note

A 13 year old bottling, distilled in 1992 and bottled by Gordon and MacPhail for their Connoisseur's Choice range. A delicate Speyside dram.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The nose is quite light and youthful with a certain freshness. There are gristy notes of barley sugars and fudge, a touch of cut hay and cut herbs with a selection of herbal teas and cut grass. Notes of toffee and honey. The palate is of medium body with a good balance. There are notes of barley sugar and toffee, vanilla fudge and mixed peels with a dry oaken note with a touch of tannic bitterness. The finish is of medium length with oaken warmth.
