A grand old single malt from Glen Spey, distilled in 1997 and matured for 21 years in an oloroso sherry butt. The cask was opened by none other than us, right here at Master of Malt, releasing a total of 158 bottles for our exclusive single cask collection.

Herbaceous layers of barley are balanced by soft poached stone fruits. Creamy layers of vanilla and oak join in time, with cooked apple and drizzles of honey.
Summer berries and robust oak open the way for indulgent notes of Rolos and creamy milk chocolate.
A touch of salted caramel joins buttery oak toward the finish, while drying cinnamon and nutmeg nestle beneath.
MoM own bottles rarely dissapoint. This is significantly more delicate and smooth then some significantly more expensive whiskeys
To me, together with my elder son and an also great friend of mine, extolled the virtues of this whisky. The whole experience, from the time it gains entrance to the mouth - through the tasting and the following aftertaste is really excellent. It is the first whisky that I don’t need to add and water in order to drink. I have to keep the bottle tightly corked to prevent the angels getting inebriated!
