This Speysider was distilled at Glen Spey in September 2006. It slumbered for 13 years, including a finishing period in a Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon, until Alistair Walker emptied the cask for its Infrequent Flyers series. The cask yielded 613 bottles, weighing in at 57.5% ABV.
Nose: Rich treacle, cinder toffee and dark chocolate.
Palate: Rich and mouth-coating, with plump dried fruit, cherry jam and chocolate ganache, with oodles of PX sweetness.
Finish: Sherried oak sweetness and brown sugar.
