This 10 year old single malt, distilled 13th August 2002 at Glen Spey, was aged in a refill bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength in 2012 by indie bottler Creative Whisky Company. Only 490 bottles were released, and they are adorned with birds of prey.

Nose

Greengages, melted butter and a whiff of roasted peanuts.

Palate

Fruity at first with fresh melon and white grape. Soon moves on to ground almond and black pepper.

Finish

Lemon, ginger and cinnamon. Reminiscent of exotic cuisine...
