Bourbon
A Gordon & MacPhail bottling of 26-year-old Glen Scotia single malt, drawn from a first fill bourbon barrel. The whisky was distilled in 1992 and bottled at 55.5% for the Connoisseurs Choice range.
Oily hops, crumbly pastry and vanilla initially, with touches of dried mango underneath.
Scotch tablet, peach flesh and green apple peels and oak spice combine in a well-rounded palate.
Fresh barley, crushed nuts and hints of honey remain.

Great nose actually outstanding. Lots of Floral notes. Letting it sit for a bit lots of layers emerging. First fill Bourbon Cask. Earthy, dusty robust smooth. Vanilla dried fruits.
