Glen Scotia 24 Year Old 1992 (cask 36) - Pearls of Scotland (Gordon & Company)
An indie bottling of single malt Scotch whisky from the Glen Scotia distillery in a Campbeltown region, aged in a single cask for 24 years - from January 1992 to June 2016. Following that, it was bottled for the Pearls of Scotland range with an outturn of 194 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Molasses, treacle and toasted oak staves. Lighter notes of mango and orange later on.
Palate
Quite cake-y, with orange zest and vanilla cream.
Finish
Nuttier on the finish than before. A little bit spicy, too.
