Bourbon
A glorious Glen Ord single malt, distilled in 2012 and matured in bourbon barrels for eight years before bottling in 2021. This was released by Càrn Mòr for its ever wonderful Strictly Limited indie bottling range, with a total outturn of 1,504 bottles.
Warm buttered croissants, ground almonds, and pear, with floral wafts of vanilla and oak char.
Apple turnover and fruit blossom, floral honey, fresh vanilla, toasted nuts, and spicy malt.
Crisp apples, creamy malt, apricots, and a touch of herbacous, fresh oak spice.
