Glen Ord 20 Year Old 1997 - Single Cask (Master of Malt)
20 year old single malt from Glen Ord, distilled back in April 1997 and left to mature in a bourbon hogshead until June 2017. We bottled this fine whisky at cask strength as part of our Single Cask Series, without the use of chill-filtration or additional colours.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Caramel and coffee, followed by digestive biscuit and honeyed cereal.
Palate
Buttery pastry, red apple, stewed plum, cinnamon and spicy oak. A hint of perfumed malt lingers.
Finish
Enjoyably floral on the finish, with just a hint of star anise.
