Description

This single malt from Glen Ord was distilled in 2012 and spent the next 13 years maturing in a single decharred, recharred hogshead. Thompson Bros. cracked into the cask, yielding an outturn of 312 bottles, bursting with notes of crisp green apples, tangy goosberries, and beeswax.

Nose

Summer florals, zingy lime, milk bottle sweeties, and buttered malt loaf, with a touch of chalky minerality.

Palate

Biscuity malt supports crisp green apple and gooseberry tang, with waxy complexity leading to savoury hints of ginger and spice.

Finish

Gingersnap biscuits and zingy fruits linger.
