A 13 year old single malt from the Glen Ord distillery, that’s been given the distinction of being bottled by Douglas Laing for its superb Provenance range. Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Perfumed, with a squeeze of zesty orange and a helping of apple peels. Notes of juicy, barley grist, cut hay and salted butter round it off.

    Palate

Warm, soft oak initially, the orange blossoms from the nose. Honey’d porridge, crushed biscuits and vanilla form on a light, sweet palate. White pepper adds spice and texture.

    Finish

A little earthy, with some candied peels and a pinch of nutmeg.
