From the Glen Ord Distillery comes this glorious 11 year old single malt, drawn from a single cask and independently bottled by Deerstalker for its Wild Scotland Collection. It boasts a bold strength of 59.8% ABV and has a suitably strong looking pair of rutting stags on the label – we assume they just couldn't agree on which one would get to be featured on this tasty bottle, so had to fight it out.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Waxed lemons, buttered crumpets, and floral, oaky vanilla.
Palate
Fruit blossom mingles with wafts of heathery honey, followed by toasted almonds, and spiced fruit crumble with vanilla cream.
Finish
Creamy malt and crisp orchard fruit with a touch of peppery green oak.
