Glen Ord 11 Year Old 2004 (cask 11215) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)
An 11 year old single malt from the Glen Ord distillery, bottled by Douglas Laing. This was distilled back in September 2004 and left to mature until May 2016, when the Douglas Laing team declared this good enough to join their fabulous Provenance range!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Redcurrant, buttered bread, golden barley and a squeeze of bitter oranges.
Palate
Warm oak at first, with orange continuing from the nose. A drop of water brings out porridge and honey notes.
Finish
More citrus, and a little bit of earthy bonfire smoke.
