Thompson Bros. is back with another indie whisky, and this one originated at Glen Ord back in 2010! It spent its decade of ageing in a single first-fill bourbon barrel, which yielded 485 bottles at 48% ABV. A wonderfully creamy Highlander here, boasting a vibrant label typical of the bottler.
Coffee eclair and honeyed toast, along with lemon shortbread and caramel.
Cooked apple and candied flowers, with buttery oak and spiced malt.
Floral oak lingers alongside tinned apricot.
