Released in 2005, a 30 year old from Glen Ord, bottled at cask strength.
The nose is very fragrant and pungent. Notes of honey and beeswax with a mixture of jams with aromatic wood and a nuttiness. The oak is tannic and refined. The palate is full and rich with a good sweetness. Notes of fruit and citrus with a touch of something herbal, perhaps a touch of Lapsang Souchong. Hints of menthol and fennel with an astringent floral character. The finish is very long with fruit, calvados and winter spice.

one of if not the best of the best what more can I say
