Sweetshop Symphony 15 Year Old 2007 - Wemyss Malts (Glen Moray)
From Wemyss Malts comes a Glen Moray single malt aged for 15 years in a first-fill bourbon hogshead. The name Sweetshop Symphony refers to the character of this whisky, which is described by the brand as a "delightful riot of pear drops, marzipan, sherbet, and sour apple candy".
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Honey sweetness on the open, white chocolate with swathes of sticky caramel. Crumbled fudge topped with flaked sea-salt.
Palate
Buttery custard, crème brulé, hard candied sweets, lemon peel, chocolate-covered raisins.
Finish
Comforting cinnamon & freshly ground ginger.
