The Penultimate Sponge! The 99th Edition of the brilliant Decadent Drinks and Whisky Sponge collaborative series is here. We can't help but feel sad that the series is reaching its finale, but they're certainly wrapping things up in style. This is a 32-year-old single malt from Glen Moray, combining a 1990 vintage refill hogshead with a 1991 second-fill sherry hogshead before it was bottled up at cask strength.
It’s fruity, opulent, decadent and tastes like the set furniture from 2001 Space Odyssey draped with all the cardigans in rural Englandshire.
