This should be really special. A whisky presented by Whisky Sponge & Decadent Drinks, this Glen Moray single malt began life in a refill hogshead for 10 years, before it was re-racked into a first-fill Port barrique for the next 20 years. It was then bottled up at 49.7%. How often do you see a whisky spend two decades in a Port barrel?

Nose
Jammy dark fruits, rancio, and dark chocolate with heaps of aromatic spice.
Palate
Stewed dates, dark muscovado sugar, earthy coffee, toasted almonds, a touch of menthol, and cocoa.
Finish
Spiced fruit loaf with sweet cinnamon.
