This is a 21 year old Glen moray, distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2016 by Hunter laing for their First Editions range, presented in bottles designed to evoke classic literature. 245 bottles were drawn from the single refill hogshead.
Gingerbread, caramel, sea salt and some white flower petals.
Marmalade, peanuts, baked apple and vanilla.
Black pepper spice builds on the finish.
