A 21 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the Glen Moray distillery, matured in a Claret cask. This 1992 vintage whisky was bottled with an outturn of 216 bottles.
Tried this during halftime of 2017-18 Super Bowl...it was try this or watch Justin Timberlake. That’s like choosing between Tahiti and the sandlot at the end of the street. While I prefer Islay peaty, smoky Scotch (Ardbeg, Lagavulin), this dram was surprisingly intense, satisfying, and an amazing complexity I didn’t know could come from such a clear colored Scotch. So, here I am trying to buy some online, only to see it’s discontinued. If I make it back to Scotland, I will buy this little test bottle up wherever I can find! If you happen across it, do not hesitate, get it!!!!!
