Single malt Scotch whisky from the Glen Moray Distillery and its Warehouse 1 series, which has seen all sorts of wonderful cask finishes. This time, it's turn turn of mighty Manzanilla! It was distilled in 2008 and initially aged in ex-bourbon casks, before being moved over to Manzanilla sherry casks for a final rest, imparting some intriguing herbal sweetness to the expression.
Barley and cut grass, waxy apple peels, a little hint of milky coffee.
Pink wafers, chai spices, orange zest, a smidge of dry oak warmth.
Still a hint of grassiness to the finish.
