From HEX Whisky comes this limited edition single cask Glen Moray. Distilled in March 1998, this single malt was aged in a sherry cask for two decades, bottled with an outturn of 180 bottles at cask strength, 60.7% ABV.
The logo is some sort of hybrid between a scarab bettle and an octopus, which if it existed in real life would be absolutely terrifying. A beetle with tentacles. It doesn't bear thinking about.
Thick waves of honey and butter, with a heaped helping of dried fruit underneath.
Here comes the Christmas spices! Cassia, cinnamon and clove, all wrapped up in caramel and lemongrass.
A final hint of orange sticks around.
