House of Macduff

1 Dec 2020

Glen Moray fans, we've got another fab indie bottling from your favourite! This one comes from the House of Macduff's Golden Cask range, and was drawn from a bourbon cask that was laid down in November 2007. After 13 years of maturation, the whisky was bottled up at cask strength in December 2020, with an outturn of only 221 bottles.
Fried dough, fruit salad (both the sweeties and actual fruit salad), and dry oak.
Nutty barley dominates the palate, with more apple and cedar developing later.
Vanilla essence, chocolate digestives, and cinnamon.
