Glen Moray 12yo 2004 Bottling Note

From Speyside's Glen Moray distillery comes a 12 year old single cask single malt, independently bottled by the fine folks over at Douglas Laing. This was distilled in May 2004 and left to mature for a dozen years in a refill hogshead, before being bottled in February 2017 as part of the Provenance range. A release of 379 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Richly malty, with underlying sweetness of fresh dates and sugared almonds.

Palate: Confectioner's sugar dusted over poached pear, a slight hint of vanilla-y biscuits and some dark rum-like heat.

Finish: Still packed with fruit. Some peppery spice.
