Bourbon
Here we have a limited edition indie Glen Moray, kindly bottled by Murray McDavid. Distilled in 2007, it was matured in a pair of bourbon hogsheads, followed by a finish in first-fill bourbon barrels. Bourbon-tastic! At 11 years old, the Speysider was released for the Benchmark series at 46% ABV.
Banana ice cream and vanilla sponge cake, with boiled lemon sweeties and spicy oak.
Fruity, with apricot and caramelised banana, cinnamon butter and brown sugar.
Green oak and spicy clove, with a touch a creamy milk chocolate.
