Glen Keith 9 Year Old 2013 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
Single malt from Glen Keith, distilled in 2013 and matured for nine years in an ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. In 2022 the cask was opened by indie bottler Càrn Mòr, which bottled up this splendid Speysider to join its Strictly Limited collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dried fruits in syrup, melted milk chocolate, freshly baked biscuits, and warm malt.
Palate
Honeyed barley is followed by raisins and sultanas, chocolate-coated nuts, and winter spice.
Finish
Baked fruit crumble, sprinkled with ginger and cinnamon, with fresh almonds and just a hint of drying herbs on the tail.
