Glen Keith 29 Year Old 1993 (cask 8525) - The Whisky Cellar
A tremendous 29 year old single malt Scotch from Glen Keith, independently bottled by The Whisky Cellar. Distilled in 1993, the whisky was filled into a single bourbon barrel where it slumbered soundly until February 2022, when the cask was opened to release an outturn of 91 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Zesty with sweet lemon drizzle cake and vanilla cream, a touch of nutty oak, and white chocolate.
Palate
Quite floral with sweet honey and herbal barley, brioche French toast with rich spice softened by earthen vanilla.
Finish
Toffee, orchard fruits, more citrus with savoury notes of cut grass beneath.
