Description
This single cask whisky was distilled at Glen Keith Distillery in August 1996. After 25 long years maturing exclusively in a refill butt, just 423 bottles were filled at 50.5% ABV by Douglas Laing.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
The nose delivers an orchard fruit sweetness alongside buttery pastry and vanilla custard.
Palate
The palate has wonderfully tropical style - pineapple, nectarines and coconut with a hint of spicy warmth.
Finish
The finish lingers long with juicy barely to the fore plus an underlying apple peel and creamy porridge style (CSL).
