An indie bottling of single malt from the Glen Keith distillery, aged in a single cask for 21 years. Said cask was a refill hogshead which was laid down in November 1995 and cracked open in March 2017. 257 bottles were produced, released by Douglas Laing for their Old Particular range.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh ginger root, lemon drizzle cake, savoury hints of brown bread and salted butter.
Palate
Sugared peels, caramel-coated dates and a hint of bourbon-style corn.
Finish
Slightly toasty, plenty of vanilla and brown sugar.
