1995 vintage single malt from the Glen Grant distillery, independently bottled by Wemyss Malts. It was matured in a single barrel until 2018, when it was bottled at 46% ABV with an outturn of 252 bottles. Wemyss bestowed it the name Zesty Effervescence, which is wonderful to say (though quite tough to type).
Almond, honey, barley, orange peel and floral vanilla.
Floral notes continue (now with rose in addition), with a lively kick of ginger and fresh apple.
Golden syrup and mint leaf.
