Glen Grant 8 Year Old 2008 (casks 900011 & 900014) - Cask Strength (Gordon & MacPhail)

A Gordon & MacPhail bottling of 8 year old Glen Grant single malt, matured in a pair of first-fill Sherry hogsheads which were laid down in August 2008 and bottled in June 2017. It was bottled for their Cask Strength range, and as such, is presented at a hearty 56.7% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Apple and blackberry pie, brown sugar and a hint of sloe berry.

Palate

Caramelised banana, vanilla-y grist, a big kick of dark chocolate.

Finish

Subtle tobacco and ginger notes appear on the finish.
