Glen Grant 46 YO 1965

This is an astounding 46 year old Glen Grant (days away from being a 48 year old!) from the impressive Carn Mor range. It was distilled in 1965 before a maturation in hogshead number 2139. It was bottled in 2012 and there are just 199 bottles (each is numbered).

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Berry fruit and vanilla. Hints of peach nectar, dried peels, a little over-ripe black grape and spice.

Palate Spiced palate entry with vanilla and coffee to the fore. A little herbal character too, with notes of white peach and honey. Good oak grip.

Finish Long and intensely peppery finish.
