Glen Grant 24yo #6454 Bottling Note

A superb addition to indie bottler Chapter 7's Monologue series – this single malt was distilled at Glen Grant in 1998 and matured for 24 years in a single bourbon hogshead. In January 2022, the cask was opened, releasing a total outturn of 254 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Wood oil and rich fruit cake, earthen vanilla with sweet peanut brittle.

Palate: Robust barley brings a nutty, biscuity character with crisp apples and a touch of berry sweetness.

Finish: Mocha creeps on the finish, with some allspice and grassy oak resting beneath sweeter dried fruits, orange zest and butterscotch.
