This single malt was distilled at Glen Grant in 1996 and filled into a refill American hogshead for maturation. After a nice long rest of 23 years, the gang at Gordon & MacPhail decided it was time to bottle the whisky up, releasing a total of 198 bottles at cask strength for the Connoisseurs Choice series.
