Glen Grant 22 Year Old 1998 (cask 13212) - Lady of the Glen (Hannah Whisky Merchants)
22 year old single malt from the great Glen Grant Distillery! This one was distilled back in 1998, and allowed to mature in a refill butt until October 2020, when Hannah Whisky Merchants came along and bottled it up at cask strength for the Lady of the Glen range. 444 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Shortbread, caramel, a hint of lemongrass and menthol.
Palate
A slow build of apple, raisin oatmeal cookies, cinnamon and milky coffee.
Finish
Pencil shavings, chocolate and black pepper.
