    Glen Grant 20 Year Old 1997 (cask 93321) - Chieftain's (Ian Macleod)

Chieftain's is a multi-award-winning collection, which now includes this sublime Glen Grant expression. It was distilled in May 1997 and aged for a total of 20 years, which included a rum cask finish, until it was bottled by Ian Macleod in April 2018 from a single cask (#93321) without any chill-filtration or added colour at 46% ABV. The total outturn was just 262 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

An aroma of floral malt and earthy spices add depth to Orange peel, vanilla and salted butter.

    Palate

Delicate touches of tropical fruits, mature oak and layers of golden syrup lead among white grape and cinnamon roll notes.

    Finish

Dried barley drizzled with honey remains.
