No age statement malt from Glen Grant, The Major's Reserve is very easy to drink, and a great entry level malt from the distillery.

When it's on your tongue, it's brilliant. But as soon as it leaves it's shallow and quick. Even for entry level, I feel there is a lot better here.
Just bought a bottle in Moscow, for only 22.50 USD!!!It's a great single malt for this price!!!
Sure it doesn't have a great complexity, but for the price this is my go to whisky. Quite easy to drink. I've rated it depending on price, it definitely won't please experienced whisky snobs though. Some hints of vanilla and fruit can be found.
The very first single malt I bought back in the sixties, and my favourite to this day: light, with a distinctive flavour that takes me back to my schooldays, lying in long grass on a warm summer's day.
Spirit drinkers often switch from whisky to gin or rum during the sumemr months, but this is a nice alternative to drink with a chunk of ice on a warm summerevening. Plenty of fruit and a light pleasant maltiness. Its also amazing value.I shall be making some Major Reserve cocktails if the sun comes out.
