No age statement malt from Glen Grant, The Major's Reserve is very easy to drink, and a great entry level malt from the distillery.

I was today given a bottle from a friend (5 year old) and I have to say it's as good as any malt I have tasted and that includes many no point to mention them ...Except to say up to today I have NEVER experienced or heard of GLEN GRANT I will in future try to find it on the shelves. ...Just to add this particular bottle must have been purchased abroad.
Amazing Single Malt Scotch Whisky for the price.
I've been drinking single malts since I was 17 and have tried a lot, this one is by far the smoothest I've tried. I'll certainly be buying more bottles and will be persuading my club to get some in.
I recently purchased a bottle of GlenGrant - The Major's Reserve, and was very delighted and pleasantly surprised with how good it is. It had a nose reminiscent of sherry barrel aging, although I'm reliably informed it is aged in bourbon barrels. There was a $10 discount off the original asking price, so that was a factor that influenced my purchase. I have recently been drinking JW Green, Platinum, Double Black and Dimple Haig and apart from JW Green Label, the Major's Reserve is my favourite. It tasted more like Green Label than anything else I've had recently. In summary, a very good single malt at a good price point. I'll definitely be going back to the bottlo for more.
Of all the cheap malts I could have bought in Gibralter I chose Glen Grant what a mistake I made.
