Glen Grant 25 Year Old (Gordon and MacPhail)
A 25 year old from the Glen Grant distillery aged in first and refill sherry casks.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
The nose is quite fruity and rich. There are notes of calvados and lush white peach. There are hints of cigar box and herbs, a little dry wood with a dusty attic note. The palate is quite full and rich with a good depth. There is a liveliness to the flavours. Notes of muscovado sugar and fraise des bois liqueur. There are some notes of damson jam and creamy oaked spice. The finish is quite short but very well-balanced and mouthwatering.
