Scotland
Single Malt
Single cask single malt from the Glen Garioch Distillery in the Highland region, independently bottled by Dràm Mòr. After 8 years of maturation, this one was bottled up at 58.4% ABV, with an outturn of just 240 bottles.
Sawdust, biscuit dough, ripe melon and Ryvita crackers.
Apricots, Weetabix with milk and sugar, toasted almond flakes and black pepper.
Quite grassy, but well balanced with milky coffee sweetness.

So here we have the Glen Garioch 8yo @ 58% abv it clear from the pale golden colour that this dram has come from a new oak cask This Highland distillery in Aberdeenshire is renowned for the cask strength drams The Nose Is a rich mixture of straw and cookie dough with vanilla and a hint of spice Palate due to the high abv it is very drying on the palate with a creamy texture tasting of fresh cut hay and a warm spice Finish is long and very warming with sultanas and nuts a very rounded dram With Ice to the nose bucket loads of vanilla and bees wax with back notes of ripened fruit Palate once again drying creamy texture with notes of digestive biscuit the Finish long and smooth with raisins and hazelnuts once again this is a spectacular dram from Dram Mor if you are a lover of clean cask strength drams from oak then this is for you the depths of flavour and intensity of notes from such a young whisky just further supports the high quality whisky coming from Glen Garioch (Glen Geery)
