This 7 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glen Garioch was matured in a refill hogshead in January 2010, before being bottled at 48% ABV by Douglas Laing for the Clan Denny range in June 2017. From cask 11892, this Glen Garioch is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. 448 bottles were produced.
Nose: Honey'd barley, soon moving on to caramels and freshly cut grass.
Palate: Nutty initially, with crunchy malt, developing sweetness and a crackle of spice.
Finish: Creamy vanilla and slightly spiced with white pepper.
