Glen Garioch 25 Year Old 1990 (cask 10989) - Xtra Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
An Xtra Old Particular bottling of Glen Garioch single malt, drawn from a single refill hogshead which was laid down in July 1990 and cracked open in November 2015. This was independently bottled by the fine folks at Douglas Laing, producing 254 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fruity malt with a hint of brown sugar. Mocha and a touch of forest floor earthiness.
Palate
Honey'd cereals, freshly brewed coffee, vanilla pods and a hint of smoky oak.
Finish
Rounded barley and chocolate. Another touch of smoke lasts.
