A spicy, rich Glen Garioch distilled in May of 1986, aged for 25 years in a single refill hogshead and bottled in November 2011 for Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask range.
Nose: Vanilla, toffee apples and toasted oak. A little mineralic, pomegranate.
Palate: Oaky, gingerbread, custard, tart plums, hazelnut and smoke.
Finish: Pepper, cinnamon.
