Bourbon
A hearty Highland single malt from the Glen Garioch distillery, bottled by Svenska Eldvatten in Sweden. This whisky was distilled in September 1993 and left to age in a single ex-bourbon barrel for 18 years, until April 2014. A release of 192 bottles, presented at cask strength with no chill-filtration or added colours.
Different bottlings from Glen Garioch vary tremendously in quality, this is clearly one of the better with a very round, smooth but yet complex taste with citrus and vanilla. Close to a 9.
