Unfortunately, we can't ship Glen Garioch 11 Year Old 2010 - Benchmark (Murray McDavid) to the United States at the moment, but we've got some friends who can.
Distilled in 2010, this Glen Garioch single malt spent most of its days in a bourbon hogshead, before it was moved to Hungarian Tokaji dessert wine casks for its final 18 months. In 2022 it was bottled by Murray McDavid for the brilliant Benchmark series, with 1,559 bottles released at 46% ABV boasting all of that sweet, fruity influence from the cask finish.
Nose: Sweet orange oil, floral honey, toasted malt, and pineapples in syrup.
Palate: Zingy tropical fruit, buttery vanilla, and lychee.
Finish: oily, delicate, sweet oak spice
