Well-sherried 20 year old Glen Elgin single malt, independently bottled by Gordon & macPhail for the Connoisseurs Choice range. This whisky was distilled back in 1997, matured in a first fill sherry butt for two decades and bottled February 2018. 602 bottles were produced.
Stewed summer berries, ground clove, red chilli powder and vanilla pod.
Chocolate mousse, fiery cinnamon, a touch of red wine and burnt oak.
Lasting hints of charcoal and chocolate.
This has to be one of my favourite whiskies Full of dark fruits, plum and rich chocolate. I love this whisky!
One of best whiskies I have drunk . So good I had to open another one right away. 100 pointer by LincolnPIMP. Top notch
