An independently bottled 20 year old Glen Elgin single malt, aged in a refill hogshead which was filled in November 1995. After the 2 decade maturation, this was bottled by the Yorkshire-based bottler Claxton's. 294 bottles were produced.
Spicy oak, well balanced with fresh tropical fruit sweetness.
Floral at first, though shortly followed by a light hint of smoke and burnt sugar.
Lingering notes of white pepper.
