Bourbon
20 year old single malt from the Glen Elgin distillery, independently bottled by A. D. rattray as part of their Cask Collection series. This was distilled in December 1995 and bottled in September 2016 with only a small outturn of 279 bottles.
Cake batter, nutmeg and orange zest. A slight waft of charred oak.
Rum spices and drying cacao notes. Creamy notes of honey linger.
Quite nutty and dry on the finish.
